If people believe they are being undervalued, they will lose interest and begin to put in less effort. This has the potential to be disastrous. You must first understand employee engagement if you want to keep and motivate your employees. Definition of Employee Engagement
Employee engagement is defined as the level of commitment to one's employer, love for their work, and investment in the company's success. Employee engagement," according to Smith (2020), is a human resources concept that indicates a worker's level of dedication and love for their profession. Employees that are engaged care about their jobs and the company's success, and they believe their efforts are significant. Employees that are engaged are motivated by more than just a wage, and they may believe that their pleasure is tied to their productivity, making them crucial to the company's success.

2. Emotional Investing
3. Physical Participation
Importance of Employee Engagement
Employee engagement is defined as the level of commitment to one's employer, love for their work, and investment in the company's success. Your entire organization will be more productive and achieve goals faster if your people are engaged and motivated by their work. They're also more likely to stay at your company if they feel engaged and empowered in their roles, which cuts down on recruiting time and costs.

Employees work more successfully and efficiently when they know what their job role. Employees who are engaged are aware that their efforts are recognized and valued.
